Green Life Smart Life Partners with Light Sight and Sound as The Home's Lighting Designer
Narragansett, RI - June 3, 2009 - As the official Lighting Designer for the Green Life Smart LifeTM project in Rhode Island, AmenityGreenTM by Light, Sight and Sound Interiors, Inc. a Baltimore, Maryland based firm since 1995, is designing the interior and exterior lighting, generating electrical plans, coordinating lighting manufacture sponsors and creating the fixture schedule that will afford the homeowners an extremely energy-efficient ENERGY STAR® rated and LEED-H® certified, eco-conscious home.
As an interior designer that specializes in energy efficient systems integration and lighting design, Jay and his team at AmenityGreenTM have positioned various natural day-lighting passive solutions along with LED (light emitting diode), and CFL (compact florescent) lighting for the home's ambient, task and accent lighting applications. Both indoor and outdoor lighting design and fixtures will meet strict LEED-H certification guidelines and optimize the homes energy efficiency and cost savings. Features like 50,000 hour LED lamp life, 5 to 1 ratio of wattage/power efficiency, and a 80% reduction in annual operational energy costs with the home's LED recessed lighting (verses conventional incandescent lighting), will be incorporated into the home to ensure that the homeowners reach their optimal energy consumption goals.
